What are Google’s Local Services Ads?
Local Services Ads help you connect with people who search on Google for the services you offer. Your ads will show up for customers in your area, and you only pay if a customer contacts you directly through the ad.
Who are they for?
With searches for local services growing by more than 25% year on year across Europe, this is an ideal time for Google to be introducing Local Services Ads to 10 countries across the continent. These countries include the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, and Spain.
LSAs are only available to eligible home services businesses within 16 verticals. These include:
Appliance Repair, Carpet Cleaning, Electrical Services, Flood/Water Damage, Garage Door Repair, House Cleaning, HVAC, Lawn Care, Pest Control, Plumbers, Removal Services, Roofers, Tree Services, Waste Removal, Window Cleaners, and Window Repair.
How do they work?
LSAs are designed to help you connect with people who are searching for the services that you offer. The ads will only show up to people who are searching in your area, and they appear at the top of the SERP (Search Engine Results Page).
Also, LSA’s are pay per lead, not pay per click, so you only pay if a lead contacts you directly through the ad. This is a great feature for small business owners, as you know you are only paying for valid leads that could result in a purchase. The ads allow you to display all the information a potential customer needs to understand what your business is offering, and how to get in contact.
Google Guaranteed
Upon sign up to LSAs, your business is able to become a Google Guaranteed business. Google’s verification process means that you are able to get accreditation for your business.
You are able to display the Google Guaranteed badge on all of your LSAs, showing potential customers that you are trustworthy and approved by Google.
