GMB rebranding to Google Business Profile

Like most things that Google offers, the Google My Business landscape is always adapting in order to bring users the most relevant results, and the best experience possible.

The new and improved Google Business Profile will replace the central hub that GMB provided, and like Google Places before it, ‘GMB’ will soon be replaced with a new and improved ‘GBP’.

So, what are the changes to GMB?

One of the main changes that Google announced was that you’ll now be able to manage your business listing directly from the Maps and Search results page.

This makes it easier to keep your business information up-to-date and for customers to contact you.
